Aimee Shuman is the Executive Vice President of Cheryl Shuman Inc. and co-founder of Beverly Hills Cannabis Club. She has appeared as a cannabis expert on TV shows which most recently include the CNN Piers Morgan Live Special Gone to Pot, The Doctors, The Katie Couric Show, Good Morning America, HuffPost Live and ABC 20/20. On July 19th, 2013 Aimee & Cheryl Shuman broke through mainstream media appearing in more than 100 million households across America. In International media, Aimee has appeared on Australia’s Today Tonight, New Zealand’s 3rd Degree, Australian’s Sunday Evening, The Jerusalem Post, Grazia Magazine and BBC Worldwide news. She recently returned from a humanitarian trip to Israel visiting Tikun Olam meeting with top Israeli scientists who are leading the research in high CBD, low THC medical cannabis.
In 2006, she was the caretaker for her mother, using the healing powers of medical cannabis in improving her mom’s quality of life by relieving her chronic pain, suffering, depression and anxiety associated with serious illness. Together they built the Beverly Hills Cannabis Club to educate and help legal cannabis patients and enthusiasts obtain access to cost effective and high quality cannabis. She delivers 10-years expertise in consumer, trade and products in the cannabis business sector. She was one the co-founders of Beverly Hills NORML and was one of the producers of KushCon Cannabis Convention.
In 2001 Aimee lost her infant daughter and is deeply compassionate towards children with serious illness or terminal conditions. She is a passionate supporter of end of life and palliative medical cannabis products for kids to help relieve symptoms that detract from the child’s enjoyment of life. She is the biggest advocate for cannabis high in cannabidiol (CBD), a compound in cannabis that has shown significant quality of life benefits, but does not have the psychoactive effects of THC.
